This morning on my run I found thousands of snails in the neighborhood. The best time to find snails is before the sun comes up and during the wet season. Snails can devour your garden in no time. I collect the snails and feed them to my chickens. The chickens are a bit hesitant to eat the snails at first but chickens love eating snails and slugs, but not banana slugs. The slugs and snails provide calcium and protein for the chickens! Yummy!
